Enjoying getting your hands dirty? Two Saturdays each year - spring and fall - the Friends of West Austin Park (FOWAP) coordinates a park maintenance day. Neighbors come together to spread mulch in various areas of the park, maintain the gardens near the pool, and other park activities. IMPD events are held on a Saturday from 9AM to 12PM and we generally have 25-40 neighbors show up. It's a lot of fun and a great way to meet your neighbors while giving back to your park. Plus, you'll get a free T-shirt if you register! We supply the tools - you bring the muscle!
